For new registrants: obtaining a new Building Benchmark BC ID

Building Benchmark BC ID is a unique identifier (10 characters long, starting with BBBC) that will be provided to you by the BBBC team following registration.

Once a Building Benchmark BC ID has been assigned to your property, the building owner or manager should add this unique identifier to their property in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. This can be done for properties individually, or via batch upload if you have multiple properties. Please refer to this resource on how to add your Building Benchmark ID to your property(ies) in ESPM (Help Desk Article).

For existing participants: locating your Building Benchmark BC ID in ESPM

If your building participated in the previous year of Building Benchmark BC, you can locate your Building Benchmark BC ID in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (Website Link) by clicking into your property, clicking on the 'Details' tab, and scrolling to the 'Unique Identifiers (IDs)' section.
