How does my strata-owned building participate in Building Benchmark BC?

STEP 1 - You will need the help of a strata council member. Have them register on the Building Benchmark BC website (Website Link) by clicking 'Sign Up' at the top of the page.

STEP 2 - We will send them two forms to fill out for BC Hydro (the Request Form and the Authorization Form)

STEP 3 - These forms will need to be submitted to BC Hydro, who will send a MURB Aggregation Code in return.

STEP 4 - The BBBC Team can help you set up an ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM) account and use your code to sync with utility providers. Once the energy data is synced, we will ask you to share your property with Building Benchmark BC’s account on ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM).
