How do I collect whole-building energy data for buildings with multiple tenants?

Modified on Tue, 29 Apr at 6:28 PM

Building Benchmark BC participants should submit whole-building energy use data to the program, including tenant spaces and common areas.

If your property is serviced by BC Hydro or New Westminster Electric Utility, your building may be eligible for data aggregation whereby the utility provider combines and anonymizes the energy consumption of each tenant for benchmarking purposes. More information specific to your utility provider can be found in our Help Desk article on Whole-building energy data (Help Desk Article).
